Bio

..born in Slidell, Louisiana. currently living in San Francisco, California in a tiny studio on a busy street. She has recorded 3 albums so far at Hyde St. Studios in San Francisco. The first album is self titled, the second album is titled 'Whiskey Was The Medicine', and the third is titled 'Under Chandeliers'. Paige is a self taught musician and singer/songwriter. She has been performing for 12 years. Paige's music has the story telling attributes of folk, the afternoon porch sitting feel of the blues, the frenetic noise of a traveling circus band, and the honesty of rock n roll. She finds her inspiration in the cities, suburbs and sleepy ocean towns of California. In greasey diners far away from home and in bars that are all too familiar. She writes on napkins and notebooks about life, the bitter and the beautiful. She writes of forgiving the past, sitting in the present and dreaming up the future. Her music is rich and velvety.. one part old timey, one part polished. Her band consists of upright bass, trumpet, trombone, keys, drums and guitar. They frequently play in venues all over the Bay Area and have performed live on many local radio stations. Paige also sings back up vocals for the talented blues singer/songwriter Chris Cotton. You can hear the new album, 'The Big Sea' @ www.chriscottonmusic.com. Paige is also the singer, performer and co creator for the multi-media performance, 'Tango La Melodia'. A performance involving live Gypsy Jazz, tango, blues, silent films, cabaret and tango dancing all wrapped up in finger waves, elegant gowns, and the 1920's. www.tangolamelodia.com. Paige plans on recording and performing music, album after album, until she's old and gray.. Thanks for listening...
